World Showcase Lagoon- 1983
Ryan Rewasiewicz shares these beautiful and colorful World Showcase photos taken at a very young EPCOT Center. The most major change you'll notice (in two of the four photos above) is the absense of today's American Gardens Theatre at the American Adventure theater. The original stage without a roof was later converted into the theater we know today.

These photos are great! They really give you a feeling of the HUGE scale the park has...it's harder to tell now that things have grown some...
The things I notice most is that beautiful old school hand painted trash can. So much better than the plain brown with medallion ones they have now.
Boy, do I love seeing these photos! Any chance you might give me permission to use one on my blog? (www.DIStherapy.com) I'm doing a special series, "30 Days to 30 Years" to celebrate the upcoming 30th anniversary, and would jump at the chance to use your photo highlighting the absence of The American Gardens Theater- I'd give FULL credit to you, of course! Thank you :D
